Retail Cleaning Checklist Barcelona

A useful shop-cleaning plan separates customer areas from stockrooms and staff facilities. Before requesting a quote, note the floor area, opening hours and surfaces that need attention. The checklist below helps you explain the work you need.

Customer-facing areas

  • Identify entrances, sales floors, fitting rooms and checkout areas.
  • List floor materials and any delicate finishes requiring specific care.
  • Specify internal glass, mirrors and reachable display surfaces.
  • Explain which merchandise and displays must stay in place.

Back-of-house areas

Include the stockroom, staff kitchen, toilets and waste points if they are part of the request. Note any restricted rooms, access arrangements and tasks handled by your own team. Do not assume moving stock or cleaning high-level windows is included: describe these separately.

Choose a practical schedule

Tell us when customers and deliveries are present. Cleaning before opening, after closing or during a quiet period can require different access arrangements. Highlight seasonal peaks and any one-off work after a refit. State whether you want a recurring plan or an initial clean.

Prepare your quote request

Provide the address, approximate square metres, number of toilets, current condition and preferred start date. Optional photographs or a floor plan can help explain the layout. Avoid including customer information, security codes or unrelated personal details in uploads.

After selecting retail and shop cleaning in the quote form, use the dedicated question to describe opening hours, stockroom areas and restrictions around merchandise. A clear scope helps distinguish regular cleaning from additional work.
